Welcome to TerraMow! TerraMow is a free application (hereinafter referred to as “TerraMow”, “we”,”us”,”our service” or “our product”).

This privacy policy elaborates on how we collect and use your personal information when you use our products and services, as well as the information control we provide you and the measures we take to protect information security.

Below is an overview of this privacy policy, aimed to help you grasp the key points of it quickly, and to understand how TerraMow collects, uses, and stores your personal information and the rights you have.     • Apple App Store, Samsung Galaxy Store: If you download and use our App through the Apple App Store or Samsung Galaxy Store, the developer entity is Shenzhen Muxin Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., which is responsible for the operation.
    • Google Play Store: If you download and use our App through the Google Play Store, the developer name is Roboterra, and the entity is Xintu Technology Shenzhen Partnership Enterprise, which is authorized by Shenzhen Muxin Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., and responsible for the operation.

How Do We Collect and Use Your Information?

  1. E-mail: Used to register and log in to an account; used to provide technical support to solve product and service problems.
  2. Approximate Location Information: Used to distinguish the user’s country or region and select the data center for data storage based on applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Accurate Location Information: Used to display the locations of the device and the user on the map for anti-theft purposes; used to scan nearby Bluetooth devices based on GPS as required by the Android system.
  4. WiFi Information: Used to configure and set up the device network.
  5. Live Streamed Video: Used to provide users with a service for remotely viewing live video.
  6. Album, Photo, Video: Used to allow users to attach photos or videos when submitting feedback for customer service.
  7. Product Information: Used to update the product status.
  8. IP Address, Browser Type, Application Crash Information: Used to provide technical support to solve product and service problems.

Who Do We Share Your Data With?

We do not actively share or transfer your personal information to any third parties not listed in “Appendix 2 Instructions for Third-Party SDK Usage” (except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations or when necessary to protect users’ rights).

When you need us to share or transfer your personal information to a third party, we will directly obtain your consent or confirm that the third party has obtained your express consent to the above-mentioned behavior. At the same time, we will conduct risk assessments on third parties who provide information to ensure that third parties can provide the same or equivalent protection of personal information as described in this privacy policy before sharing or transferring it in accordance with the law.

How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

The length of time we retain your information depends on the type of information, and it is not longer than the period required by law.

2. Definition and Scope of Application

Personal Information refers to various information recorded electronically or in other ways that can identify a specific natural person alone or in combination with other information or reflect the activities of a specific natural person.

Personal Sensitive Information refers to personal information that, once leaked, illegally provided or misused, may endanger personal and property safety, and easily lead to personal reputation, physical and mental health damage, or discriminatory treatment. This includes biometrics, religious beliefs, specific identities, medical and health information, financial accounts, whereabouts, genetic data, and other information, as well as personal information of minors under the age of fourteen.

De-identification refers to the technical processing of personal information (using pseudonymization, encryption, hash functions, and other technical means to replace the identification of personal information), so that it cannot be identified or associated without additional information with the subject of personal information.

Anonymization refers to the technical processing of personal information, so that the subject of personal information cannot be identified or associated, and the processed information cannot be restored. The information obtained after anonymization is not personal information.

Non-personal Information refers to other information that cannot identify a specific natural person or reflect the activities of a specific natural person.

Information we receive from third parties

We do not actively obtain your personal information from third parties. If it is necessary for business development to obtain information from a third party that has not been described in this policy, we will verify the legality of the source according to law, or clarify the source, type, and scope of use of your personal information to you before obtaining it. For example, if the personal information processing activities required by TerraMow to conduct business are beyond the scope of your original authorization and consent when providing personal information to a third party, we will obtain your express consent before processing your personal information. In addition, we will also strictly abide by relevant laws and regulations, and require third parties to guarantee the legality of the information they provide.

4. What System Permissions Do We Need You to Authorize?

In order to provide you with certain functions and services, we may ask you in advance to authorize us to call relevant system permissions. You can view each system permission and its status item by item, and choose to enable or disable permissions in the system settings of your mobile device.

Enabling these permissions means that you authorize us to collect and process this personal information when using related functions and services. We only call your system permissions when you use related functions. Disabling these permissions means that you withdraw these authorizations. We will no longer continue to collect and use your personal information, but we will not be able to provide you with the functions and services corresponding to these permissions. The decision to disable the above authority will not affect the previous processing of personal information based on your authorization.

We only collect and process the relevant information mentioned in “3. What Information Do We Collect or Process?” when you use specific functions or services. For instance:

  • When you create a TerraMow account, you need to provide some account information. Your TerraMow account is a core component of products and services so that you can access and control your personal information.
  • When you use TerraMow, some personal information is recorded in your TerraMow account.
  • When you contact our support team, our team may temporarily obtain some personal information from your TerraMow account until the problem is solved.

6. How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

Data collected through our products and services is processed for the following specific purposes. They may be used for different purposes at the same time.

Personal data processed by TerraMow is stored in your TerraMow account and can be accessed in the app.

Account

By creating a TerraMow account, you can better use our products and services. Through this account, you can also manage your own content and preferences.

Communicate with You

When you contact our support team with a problem you report, our team member may need to process your personal information to help you. Without your consent, they are not able to view your personal information.

Improve and Develop Services

We may use your anonymous personal information to improve our products and services, customer support, and to develop new services. For example, we may need to process this data to troubleshoot and prevent errors, perform data analysis and testing, conduct research and surveys, and develop new features and services.

Improve Safety and Protection Measures

7. How Does Our Product Work and What Technology Does It Use?

Our products work over wireless connections (WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G/4G/5G) to enable product configuration as well as transfer and sync data collected by your TerraMow account. Some functions are only available after connecting our product and TerraMow. Personal information collected by our product is stored in TerraMow after you sync the product with TerraMow.

Which Third-Party SDKs Do We Use?

In order to ensure the realization of some independent functions and enable you to use and enjoy more services and functions, we embed third-party SDKs in TerraMow, and we carefully evaluate the purpose of using these SDKs. For more information about the purpose, method, and scope of SDK processing personal information, please refer to “Appendix 2 Instructions for Third-Party SDK Usage”.

How Do We Use Cookies and Web Beacons?

We work with partners who provide us with analytics and advertising services. This includes helping us understand how users interact with the services, serving advertisements on our behalf across the Internet, and measuring the performance of those advertisements. These companies may use cookies, web beacons, and other similar technologies to operate and improve our website. We also use cookies to display advertisements.

8. Do We Share Your Personal Information?

To ensure you get a high-quality experience, we may disclose certain data under very strictly defined circumstances:

When You Agree or Instruct Us to Share

You can instruct us to disclose your information to others. For example, instruct us to share your information in other ways, and when you allow a third party to request access to your account, their use of your information will be governed by their privacy policy and terms.

Protecting your privacy and security is critical to how we build and deliver our products and services.

We recommend that you regularly log in to your TerraMow account and confirm that your personal information is accurate and up to date. If you have questions about the accuracy of the data, please let us know and we will take steps to correct or delete the inaccurate data.

Security Event Handling

In the event of a security incident such as personal information leakage, we will initiate emergency plans and remedial measures to prevent the expansion of the security incident, and perform relevant reporting and notification obligations in accordance with the law.

  1. We will formulate emergency plans for network security incidents to deal with security risks such as system vulnerabilities, computer viruses, network attacks, and network intrusions in a timely manner. In the event of incidents that endanger network security, we will immediately activate the emergency plan take corresponding remedial measures, and report to the relevant authorities in accordance with regulations.

Notice: The operation of deleting an account cannot be undone. If you have deleted your TerraMow account and want to use our products and services again, you will need to create a new account, but the personal information before deleting the account cannot be retrieved.

You have the right to receive the personal data we hold about you and transmit it to another data controller.

Right to Object

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, including for direct marketing purposes.

For example, you can disable the corresponding system permissions through the steps in “Appendix 1 Permission Application Instructions”, thereby rejecting our collection and processing of corresponding personal information.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

11. How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Information?

The length of time we retain your information depends on the type of information, and the retention time does not exceed the period stipulated by law.

If you sign in to your account within 7 days of requesting its deletion, your account deletion request will be automatically canceled.

If your account has been deleted and you want to use our products and services again, you can create a new account.

TerraMow’s products and services are available to the general public. We recognize the importance of taking extra steps to protect the privacy of minors.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 14. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 14, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

At the same time, if you are a minor under the age of 14, do not use our products and services. If you are over the age of 14 but under the age of 18, you need to obtain the explicit consent of your guardian before using our products and services. 13. How Do We Update This Policy?

We may revise the content of the “TerraMow Privacy Policy” in due course. If the change will result in a substantial change in your rights under this “Privacy Policy”, we will notify you by means of system push, email, text message, or page announcement before the change takes effect.

If you do not agree to the change, you should stop using TerraMow products and services, or request to cancel your account through the contact information published in this “TerraMow Privacy Policy”. If you continue to use our products or services, you agree to be bound by the revised privacy policy.

Substantial changes referred to in this “TerraMow Privacy Policy” include but are not limited to:

  1. Significant changes have taken place in our service model. Such as the purpose of processing personal information, the type of personal information processed, the way of using personal information, etc.
